After Hours Policy
Emergencies: If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
After-Hours & On-Call Services
At Kramer Davis Health, we know that questions and concerns don’t always wait for business hours. That’s why we have an after-hours and on-call system in place to support you when our clinic is closed. Here’s what you need to know:
Business Hours
Our clinic is open:
Monday–Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST
During these hours, your calls will be answered directly by our Kramer Davis Health team.
After-Hours Support
If you call after 4:30 p.m. or before 8:30 a.m. CST, your call will be routed to our after-hours answering service. This is a trusted third-party partner trained to assist with your concerns and escalate needs to our on-call team.
What Happens When You Call After Hours?
- If you need to speak with someone, the answering service will take your message and securely forward it to the on-call staff.
- Your message will also be documented on the internal portal so we can follow up as needed.
- Please leave your full name, date of birth, call-back number, and a clear description of your concern.
Medication Questions or Refills?
If you’re calling after hours about medication refills, the answering service will usually advise you to:
- Call your pharmacy first
- Otherwise, we kindly ask that you call our office during business hours for all non-urgent medication needs
Need to Make or Change an Appointment?
Please call back during normal business hours for scheduling or rescheduling appointments. Our team will be happy to help you at that time.
A Few Helpful Reminders
- The after-hours service is for urgent concerns that cannot wait until the next business day.
- Non-urgent requests (forms, general questions, referrals) should be handled during regular hours.
- Always have your phone nearby and ringer on after leaving a message, in case our on-call staff needs to reach you.
- If you do not hear back within a reasonable timeframe, and your concern becomes more urgent, please visit your nearest urgent care or ER.
